Adult Tennis & Pickleball
We are excited to announce our partnership with the University of Findlay in 2022 to bring more quality tennis programs to the Findlay YMCA. We believe that this partnership will provide our members with greater access to tennis programming and resources, as well as create a stronger connection to the local university. We are dedicated to providing an enjoyable and educational experience to our members, and we are confident that this partnership will greatly benefit our tennis programs.
The East Branch offers a tennis center with 5 indoor tennis and pickleball courts and full locker rooms.
Our tennis center offers court time/rental, youth tennis programs, adult tennis programs, pickleball, and private tennis lessons.
Members can reserve courts for up to 2 hours in person or online two days in advance. The fee for reserving a court is $20 per hour at peak times (5-9 pm Monday-Thursday) and $12 per hour during nonpeak times. Learn how to make a court reservation below.
Alternatively, members can walk on to open courts at any time. Keep in mind that if you are a walk-on, there is no guarantee that you will get a court. Walk-on time is limited to 90 minutes.

Jeff Westmeyer
Meet Jeff, Director of Racquet Sports!
Jeff Westmeyer has over 25 years of experience teaching tennis. His experience includes coaching college tennis, competitive juniors, adult USTA teams, and running tournaments. Currently, he is the Head Women’s Tennis Coach at the University of Findlay, where his teams have posted a 69% winning percentage with multiple players receiving all-conference honors and two players being named GMAC Conference Player of the Year.
Before coming to the University of Findlay, Jeff operated his own tennis instruction business, Westmeyer Tennis, in Dallas, Texas. Previous club experience also includes time as the Director of Tennis at Toledo Tennis Club, Director of Tennis at Catawba Island Club, being the Head Tennis Pro at Central Tennis and Fitness, and as a tennis pro at The Sports Club of Novi. Jeff’s college coaching experience also includes being an assistant coach at the University of Toledo, Michigan State University, and the University of Virginia.

Make A Court Reservation
- Reservations may be made up to 48 hours in advance.
- Reservations can range in increments of 30, 60, 90, and 120 minutes.
- Reservations can still be made by calling the Tennis Center at (419) 422-9922.
How To Register To Make a Court Reservation
- Follow the link below.
- Click Sign In, found in the upper right corner.
- Click Register As New User.
- Enter your email address as your User ID.
- Enter your chosen Password.
- Record ID and Password for future reference!
- Enter Registration Code: 123
- Click Register, then click OK.
Making A Court Reservation
- Login with ID and Password.
- The screen will open to today's date.
- Using the calendar icon, choose the date of your reservation.
- Click on the court you would like to play on.
- Choose the Start Time of your game.
- Choose the Length of Play Time. Limit 2 hours.
NOTE: You must have a credit card on file with us to make a reservation. Credit card will be billed for your reservation.
Cancelling or Changing A Reservation
- Login with ID and Password.
- Double-click on your reservation.
- Make necessary changes or click CANCEL to remove the reservation.
NOTE: Reservations must be canceled no less than 1-hour before start time. Repeated failure to do so may result in forfeiture of reservation privileges.
