Apply For An Open Doors Scholarship

The YMCA provides scholarship assistance for both Membership and Program services through our Open Doors program.

Through generous contributions made to our Annual Campaign from members of our community, the Y is able to provide financial assistance to those in need. As a leading nonprofit for youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, the Y uses these contributions to nurture children and teens, improve community health and well-being and support those in need, right in your own neighborhood.

Applicants who are applying for help with childcare fees MUST show that they have first submitted an application to the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services before submitting an application to the YMCA. To properly administer these funds the Findlay YMCA requires all participants to fill out the application completely and provide all necessary documentation requested. All information is confidential.

A new application and updated information will be required annually.

The OPEN DOORS program is funded by your support of the Community Annual Giving Campaign, the United Way of Hancock County.

To apply, download the Open Doors Application below or pick up an application at one of our locations.
