Levels for Every Age & Skill

We have a variety of tennis classes available for children between the ages of 4 and 17. Our youth tennis classes are the perfect way for children to learn and develop their skills in a fun and supportive environment. Our experienced coaches provide expert instruction and guidance, helping young players to improve their technique, agility, and overall performance. Whether your child is a beginner or an experienced player, our classes offer a great opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic and engaging setting. Elizabeth Hadler, Director of Racquet Sports/Head Pro

Elizabeth Hadler began as the head pro at the YMCA in November of 2022. Elizabeth is a PTR certified tennis instructor and has been teaching and coaching for over 30 years. She played at the University of Missouri-Rolla at #1 singles and doubles while also playing basketball and running cross country. Elizabeth has a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics, a master's degree in education, and a Master of Divinity. She coached the men's and women's tennis teams at Central College in Iowa, the women's team at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, was an assistant coach for the tennis teams at Highland High School (Medina), and is currently the assistant women's tennis coach at the University of Findlay. Elizabeth served as the vice president of the Missouri Section of the USTA. 

Jeff Westmeyer, UF Director of Tennis

The YMCA partners with the University of Findlay and Coach Jeff Westmeyer, UF's Director of Tennis, to bring more quality tennis programs to our organization and to strengthen our partnership with UF, a premier private university. Coach Westmeyer offers caring and clear instruction that helps each player become their best on the court. The UF women's tennis team earned trips to the NCAA DII Regional in each of the previous four seasons under Coach Westmeyer's direction.
